Sista Circle Event

I actually did it! I followed through with one of my dreams and introduced Sista Circle which was initially inspired by many-a-conversations I have had with my girlfriends. They always wanted to do something, play it forward, dance, love, go out, pray, meditate, move up the corporate ladder, meet new people, have fun, have a support systems of some sort, read, eat, drink and be merry! Our first Event was held on Women's Day, 09 August 2008 and what an event it was. Wow! I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful people. If that's what is meant that we attract like minds or people that you can identify yourself with, then I am so Blessed, I couldn't have asked for more. I know some seriously wonderful individuals. When I had sent out invites to the first Event, I did not expect it to turn out quite as heartfelt, thought provoking and as inspiring as it turned out and oh yes, we ate, we drank and we were merry. My programme started off with an Aspiration and Dreams Introduction of myself and the ladies of our Sista Circle.

My want to be a Life-Coach and Motivational Speaker was kick started at this Event as I watched a vision manifest into reality. The rest of the afternoon introduced to me my friends as they are, and hoped to be - Children Book Authors, Own Bosses, Ladies studying towards their Masters Degree, Psychologists, Teachers, Ladies who wanted to align their goals, career, emotional wellbeing with their life purpose, future politician who will hold Senior office positions and have a say in the running of our country. Ladies who recognized themselves as an instrument of God, there to get a greater insight of self, living a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

We continued with our Topics, relevant to all our individual needs, Interventions and exercises which helped us to - Burn all the doubts that hinder our progress, set up a day where we can just pamper ourselves and how we will facilitate our own spiritual growth.

We exchanged hugs, laughs and contact details and formed a bond and a Support structure worthy to call family. This has now become a monthly Event with different themes, Guest Speakers, goodie bags and fun, fun, fun.
